We are the ONLY team in Tallahassee with a staff comprised of Only Professional Coaches who have worked with youth through MULTIPLE Top 10 NBA Draft Picks.
PBB Nation Travel Teams deeply value player and personal development and teaching players how to play basketball the right way.
The focus lies in 4 areas:
- Spiritual: learning that life isn’t about “you” - it’s about loving and serving the people around you.
- Physical: Learning to train at a level that is uncomfortable so the player can make transformational progress.
- Mental: developing a marathon, relentless mindset. A mindset that exudes the ability to handle adversity - embracing and enjoying the moment, but yet understanding the long journey ahead and how this all plays out in life.
- Skill: We will develop fundamentals and skill through the trademark Process Basketball approach of “Love the Process” – which is ridiculous attention to detail in the fundamentals of the game, skill acquisition, and skill development.
In addition, PBB Nation uses basketball to teach and reinforce character. Basketball provides numerous teachable moments. The ball stops bouncing for even the greatest of players, so WHO YOU ARE and HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS IS MORE IMPORTANT than your jump shot.
However, please don’t get confused. We develop competitors. Developing the entire player and person is the foundation of our mission.
Most importantly, our team environment is NOT FOCUSED ON “WINNING AND LOSING GAMES”, but focused on the necessary intangibles that makes winning possible. Winning is a by-product of the HABITS, MINDSET, and DEVELOPMENT that our team will build.
ALL COACHES have played at the college level and/or are Professional Skill Development Trainers. We have the proper knowledge, understanding, and experience of what it takes to succeed at a high level. We have worked with and or coached players into TENS of millions of dollars in scholarships, over 100 million dollars in professional contracts, along with coaching some of the top up and coming players in the country. We believe strongly in playing our roles! We will Coach train and develop! Parents job is to love and support!
